We’re a husband-and-wife team, Shannon & David, and we’re raising three amazing daughters while building our business.
David: The master craftsman — 25+ years swinging chisels and laser-leveling everything from countertops to custom bars. A true artisan who treats every project like a legacy piece.Shannon: The powerhouse behind the scenes — the marketing whiz, client whisperer, and all-around boss who keeps this ship sailing smoothly. She’s the voice you hear when you call and the one making sure your remodel runs like clockwork.
Our Roots CounterMakers, Medina, OH — Continuing a Family Legacy
Mr.Countertops started in Medina, Ohio, building on the foundation laid by our father’s company, Countermakers. When he passed, we vowed to carry on his legacy, providing beautiful, durable, and functional countertops — and eventually expanding into full-scale remodeling.Our shop is more than a workspace — it’s our home base for creativity and precision. Nestled on our little acre farm just outside Medina, it’s where craftsmanship meets chaos, alongside our daughters, goldendoodles, Shih Tzu, ducks, chickens, rabbits, kittens, and even a chinchilla.Foster, Rescue & Family Life
We’re not afraid to show personality and imperfection. Our farm is loud, messy, and full of love — rescue animals, foster kittens, and a whole bunch of four-legged (and feathered!) chaos keep us inspired.
