In this modern kitchen remodel, we designed and fabricated a massive solid Walnut island top that serves as the anchor for the entire space. While the surrounding cabinetry features clean, minimalist lines and neutral tones, the deep chocolate hues and swirling grain patterns of the Walnut provide a much-needed natural warmth.

Crafted for the Modern Lifestyle: We selected “Select-Grade” American Black Walnut to ensure a consistent, premium look while maintaining the wood’s natural character. To ensure this island survives the “punishment” of a busy kitchen, we utilized a specialized, moisture-locked satin finish. This gives you the tactile, smooth feel of real wood while offering industrial-grade protection against wine spills, water rings, and daily prep work.
